Migration from Exchange 2003

I am having a hard time figuring out migration from Exchange 2003. I need to do a phased migration, which seems pretty straight forward from the docs. The docs only reference Exchange 5.5 users, not Exchange 2003. I have attempted Step 1 and 2 of the Migration Docs, and I think they might be right. I have no idea how to proceed with Step 4.

If I can migrate a few accounts over and testing is successful, we will be purchasing the site migration support, but that doesn't help me with this. I am really surprised that even the Scalix 11 Beta docs only reference 5.5. Is there no support for 2003 users?

I really need to get this resolved so I can move forward and my salesman has been pretty slow on the responses.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

We only have 40+ users and are expecting the migration to last 2-3 weeks. I think we have struck a deal with Scalix and will be using their migration services. We are a bit reluctant to make this purchase without knowing how the migration will go, but Scalix seems mature, stable and has the right feature set.

It will. I've done plenty of migrations now, and they all go quite smooth.

Scalix Tech support has gone WAY beyond what could reasonably be expected of them. I should say a special thanks to Karl and Rachel in that regard. :)

more than five months later, i'm in trouble with the same problems. and so i need such guide too. is there any chance to get them this week okay, seriously: can we expect an update for the existing guide?
