User cannot log in

Since last week I have been trying to get one of my users mail to work properly. I figured his mailbox was corrupted, but a omscan -Afvx -U "user name" did not generate any feedback suggesting this is the case.

When trying to log in through thunderbird with IMAP the password verification process just times out and prompt him for his password again.

When trying to log in through the webmail the "logging in. Please wait..." banner is shown, but nothing else happens. It simply times out.

Any suggestions as how to proceed?

Hmm see if this solves it, seems to be popping up alot lately.

omoff -d 0 imap
omon imap
omoff -d 0 "Remote Client Interface"
omon "Remote Client Interface"

(may take 30 seconds or so for the remote client interface to restart, you may get an error for the first few omon tries)
