Spamassassin Milter Help

I got a lot of Spamass-milter timeout errors. The results of these errors are: spam not detected, or even scored 20 but not labled as spam.

Scalix suggested these parameters in technical note:
Xspamassassin, S=local:/var/run/spamass-milter/spamass-milter.sock, F=, T=C:15m;S:4m;R:4m;E:10m

Could I make the wait time longer to improve the situation? What should I change?

http://www.sendmail.org/doc/sendmail-current/libmilter/docs/installation.html is the best place to get details on what the settings mean.

We don't have any best practice recommendations for setting the timeouts. It sounds like you have a performance issue on the server if the message is not being scanned within 4 minutes (the R setting ).
