Scalix POP3/SMTP unable to send mails to other Domains

Can you tell me what firewall you're using in case this issue comes up for other users?

I am using Watchguard Firebox & i believe, this issue could be for any firewall.

Well, on the Scalix side it was 'due to spam list' because the session was unauthenticated.

It could be for any firewall, but as an old firewall guy I know that most firewalls (that proxy smtp at all) won't do that unless you specifically block ESMTP.

Thanks for the info anyway, it's good to know that Watchguard does this by default.

I'm having a similar issue in that I'm also getting the error in the fatal logs:

REPORT SMTP Relay (SMTPD Relay Pr) 11.14.06 10:18:48
[OM.DMON 2172] SMTP: Rejected relay attempt from Online_Games@freestuffandcontests.com at 69.25.186.81 to user@domain.com

At which point the SMTP Relay shuts down.

I can start it again but it is a pain to have to do this many times in a day
