how do i remove a currupted message

ARGH!

i fix one problem and then end up with another. here's some output from my system. the messages are stacking up.. smtp relay service keeps aborting on me. currently i'm not getting an new mail delivered.

What version of scalix are you on? One of the errors is telling you that you have a problem with the sxadmin account. How many messages does this mailbox have? Can you access it with a client without a problem? If so delete or move messages out of the inbox. Also try running:

omscan -Afx -U sxadmin

i'm running 10.0.1.21


this install was mainly to eval scalix as a replacement for a qmail setup. i completely forgot to check the admin box. after looking i realize i have 32k emails in the admin box.. is there a way i can delete them all from the command line?

thinks have been running for 24 hours without having to restart anything. the problem i have now is that my Internet Mail Queue keeps growing. it's now at 11k messages. yesterday was in the 8k range. why is this growing?

i haven't tested it yet but i think when i just configured spamassassin (using your kb article) dnbl stopped working. the reason for this is i started getting more spam after spamassassin. spamassassin is working correctly as for as i can tell.

There could be any number of reasons for your intenet gateway to be queuing messages. I suggest you purchase a support incident. With that we can then ssh to your system. Please send a message to support at scalix dot com.

how much is that? this is my personal server with only 4 accounts.

or i could ditch scalix can go back to qmail / horde. i ran a qmail / horde setup for years without any problem. scalix was running fine for about 6 months. i feel like i'm running an exchange 5.5 server again.

i fixed it!!!

i believe this was the root of my problem - http://www.sendmail.org/faq/section4.html#4.5
i still have no idea how this got misconfigured.

the other problem that i cleared up with the double bounce problem with spams. it would be nice if the setup asked if you want to disable this during the install.
