Running Tomcat as non root

Hi,

Can anybody help me on getting tomcat to run as non root, I tried the howto at http://www.scalix.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... Tos/Tomcat but it won't work for me.
I think wat is missing, is that I also have to change something in the tomcat configuration or startup files.

Replying to myself, but still could use some answers.

Got tomcat to run as user tomcat, for used commands see: http://www.scalix.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... -root_user

However tomcat starts alright but gives me the following error:

# /etc/init.d/scalix-tomcat start
Starting Tomcat service:  execvp: No such file or directory  [FAILED]

After this message tomcat is running though, however stopping tomcat is not possible with the script, only 'kill -9 xxxx' does the trick.

Can anybody help me on this one?
