I just wanted to add this to Yuri's comment when I saw your response.
There is no license expiry on a normal license.
(if your license says "Expiry", you are using an eval or trial license like the one you get for our 25 user, 60 day enterprise edition eval. In that case, when the license expires, the system will automatically downgrade to Community Edition functionality).
A normal SBE or EE license is perpetual. It has a LVID date (Last Valid Issue Date) encoded to it which means that you will be able to install new versions of Scalix published before that particular date - which is our way of tracking that you have software assurance and are licensed for upgrades.....
