Cannot edit or delete a group

Good morning,

I've created a group which had several aliases associated to it. After adding alias 16 (out of 20), I received a message "The group information could not be saved". I then tried deleting the group and received a message "Could not delete group". I also tried to delete the group manually with "omdelpdl". The command runs but the group remians.

What else can I do?

Two notes here...

first is the actual limitation.... All Internet aliases together can use a maximum storage amount of 512 bytes in the directory, so there is no limit on the number of aliases, but on that.

i would check first what the entries is like now.

you should be able to find it using omlistpdl or maybe also
omsearch -e S=listname
(if you only used one word...)

if this only returns one entry, you will be able to delete the entry using omdelent -e S=listname.
