Outlook Rich Text

Postby andrewbarbara » Sun Jul 03, 2005 6:30 am

Hello,

I am getting the following when attempting to sent email from Outlook 2003 using its default setting "Send using Outlook Rich Text Format"

Any advice would be great.

Hello,

couple of things here. First off, does this happen with every message and every user or is this specific to you and happens only once, a couple of times or everytime you send a message?

Second, the error is caused by the MAPI properties of a message. I am wondering what kind of MAPI extensions you have installed on your PC? Anything installed there?

Third, I would like to have a look at one of those messages. In order to export them from the "error" queue, please run omqdump and enter A14E as a password:

galadriel:/home/ssiekmann # omqdump

Improper use can cause serious damage.
If you do not wish to continue, hit return now.

if you type "s" you will see the list of queues and their status:

You should have some messages in the ERROR queue. To list the messages in the ERROR queue, hit "l"and then enter "error".

To export the offending message, use "G" and the message number in the queue. Messages are numbered starting from 0, so if you need the first message, enter 0, if you want the second message, enter 1:

Done
Option?o

Now, to export the message into a file, hit "o"
