Problem with German "Umlaute"

Hello,

we are in the Process of evaluation Scalix and first of all i have to say this software is fantastic!

I only have a littel Problem. I've tried to create a user with "Umlaute" e.g. äöu in the name. This failed via the web admin.

Now i have half of the user in the system. If i make omshowu -m all I get:

Markus Mueller /app01,network/CN=Markus Mueller/S-TX=M?ller/CN-TX=Markus M?ller

But i can not delete this user. When i run omdelu with the id i get:

Code: Select all

[OM 8040] The user can't be found, or has been deleted.

omdelu: No users were deleted

Anyone can helf me with this? Is Scallix 10 unable to handle "Umlaute" in the display Names?

Is this on SLES9 or SuSE?

If yes, please search the forum for the issue - it is about setting some LC variables at the time Tomcat starts to run SAC.
