folder "No response was provided by the SOAP method&quo

Postby splashd » Sat Jul 15, 2006 10:05 am

I cannot open a particular folder using SWA after migrating my mail accounts using imapsysnc to Scalix community edition v.10.0.1. All else works well, but when I try to open my Saved mail folder (about 300 entries), I get:
"No response was provided by the SOAP method [fetchMessageHeaders] ".

Any ideas where to look in logs for the problem, or what to do?

I tried the solution I found in http://www.scalix.com/community/viewtop ... =6436#6436,
which had me add the MSLDATA_SUBVERSION=1 to general.cfg, but it was no help.

thanks,

I looked in and here is the output (edited for IP's and e-mail name) :

Code: Select all

</faultcode><faultstring>No response was provided by the SOAP method [fetchMessa
geHeaders]</faultstring><detail><e:EmptyResponse xmlns:e="http://scalix.com/erro
rs"><message>No response was provided by the SOAP method [fetchMessageHeaders]</
message><debug>[none]</debug></e:EmptyResponse></detail></SOAP-ENV:Fault>

Oddly, al other folders work fine after I did the imapsync migration. For some reason this one did not. I even re-ran the imapsync from the old mailbox.

help!

This may be a scalix bug wherein it has trouble dealing with a bad message id. Contact scalix support for help on this one.

I received the same message just the other day; of course it was my boss's mailbox with about 5G of mail in the Inbox. Deleted a ton of stuff and it went away.
