Forwarding Mail

Postby jeffzrmann » Thu Jun 29, 2006 7:32 pm

If I were to want to forward a user account's mail to another system how would it be done?

Exchange administrator allows you to set up alternate recipients. Can it be done on Scalix?
I want mail delivered to the user account and to the remote system.

Thanks

Use a forward rule.

At user level this can be done with the scalix rules wizard or by setting the rule from Outlook.

Administrators can use sxaa from the admin resource kit to set a rule for any user (or multiple users).

In all cases the rules are server-side.

Yes you can keep a local copy, the option you are looking for is "retain"

sxaa --user "User Name" --redirect username@remote.host --retain

Return to “Scalix Server”
