Had you purchased a support incident and given us ssh access like I suggested in reply to your email I would have better been able to tell you what may have happened. At this point I have no idea.
Maybe they are now on the error or smerr queues? Maybe you wouldn't have had to delete all of them. Maybe one message was jamming the works. Maybe the messages were delivered? Does your fatal log give you any indication of a problem?
