New install of Scalix Eval: Can't log into Admin Console

Just completed installing the Scalix eval on SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9.

I am able to login to Webmail as sxadmin, but cannot log into Administration Console as sxadmin (I am including the FQDN). Error message says "Could not login. Check the Login ID and password."

Does Administration Console use a different authentication source than Webmail?

Hi. First, open a shell window on your Scalix server and type:

omshowu -n sxadmin

and verify that you're entering the "Authentication ID:" value. If that's correct, have you changed your machine's hostname since you've installed Scalix?

Ah, looking at the "Authentication ID:" value in omshowu made me realize that I had been putting in sxadmin@domain.com, when it wanted sxadmin@hostname.domain.com.
