Active Directory Extensions: where is scalix_ade?

I downloaded the 60 day trial tarball of the Scalix 11 enterprise release, and I'm trying to get Active Directory integration up and running. The installation manual says:

Start the Scalix Active Directory Extensions installer. It’s located in the tarball under the directory, software/scalix_ade.

./Scalix AD Schema Extensions.msi

But the tarball I have does not contain a "scalix_ade" directory. In fact I can't find anything referencing this. Are the AD extensions not included in the trial download? If not, does this mean that AD integration is not possible with the trial version?

Hi!

Scalix Active Directory Extensions only comes with:
Enterprise Edition: http://www.scalix.com/enterprise/editions/enterpriseedition.php
Small Business Edition: http://www.scalix.com/enterprise/editions/smallbusinessedition.php
and not with Community Edition.

Thanks,
Subir

Hi Subir,

I have downloaded the Small Business 50 Edition but the AD Extension program is not there as well. Please advice.

Thanks.

In the email you get from Scalix there's a Windows Client download. This contains the AD extensions as well as the MAPI client. This is separate from the server download links.
