Source code for Scalix Collaboration Platform.
We are releasing the source code for our Collaboration Platform. The code for Scalix Collaboration Platform is the base code for all of our product editions. You can now port our software to new platforms, and can localize, customize, and extend the product. Source code is available today for the following components of Scalix Collaboration Platform:
Scalix Management Console
Management Console is your powerful GUI interface for system administration.
Management Services
Management Services allow you to extend and automate your Scalix administrative environment. These Management Services include SOAP-based APIs that allow other applications to call up functions in the Scalix product. For example, using our Management Services framework, provisioning a user in another application can trigger automatic provisioning of that user in the Scalix Server.
Management Plug-ins
Management Plug-ins give you scripts to extend and customize your Scalix management environment. They are very powerful for automating and streamlining the repetitive tasks that can bog down valuable time, such as generating a company-wide mailing list or backing up or restoring an individual mailbox.
Search and Indexing Services
Search and Indexing Services provide real-time indexing of private and public folder messages as well as attachments. This results in sub-second mailbox-wide search and retrievals, even in very large mailboxes and folders. Search and Indexing Services are built on the open-source Lucene technology.
Messaging Services
Scalix Messaging Services are server-based REST APIs that allow you to integrate your email and calendaring with other critical applications such as your CRM, content management, or ERP applications. You can integrate calendaring functions and data directly into other applications, and you can integrate data from other applications into your Scalix email and calendaring. Messaging Services can be used to automate workflows and information dissemination, provide alerts, synchronize calendars, and deliver other performance-enhancing services.
Scalix Installer
Our Installer installs the Scalix software and ensures the proper version of all 3rd party components.
Localization Kit
The Localization Kit exposes the language-specific processes of the Scalix software, providing the hooks to integrate third party language processing tools. It allows for localization of SWA, Scalix Connect for Outlook, and Scalixs search and indexing capabilities.
