Introduction

This wiki currently covers Scalix Community Edition Raw (CE Raw), the latest addition to the Scalix family of messaging and calendaring software products.

To learn more about Scalix CE Raw, visit http://www.scalix.com/ceraw.

The Wiki will contain technical information about Scalix CE Raw and other Scalix products going forward. Most pages are freely editable by users who identify themselves through self-registration.

CE Raw Installation Instructions

Installation of Scalix CE Raw is described in the following document:

Note: These manual installation instructions apply only to Scalix CE Raw, not to any other Scalix edition. Installation of any Scalix edition other than CE Raw is only supported through the Scalix Installer, because it provides for further system checkup and verification. If you manually install any Scalix edition other than CE Raw, this may invalidate your ability to receive Scalix support for that software. Thank you for your understanding and compliance.

How-Tos

How-Tos describe in a "cooked book" and step-by-step fashion how to archieve certain results with Scalix CE Raw. For beginners and advanced users of the system.

Note: How-Tos apply to other editions of Scalix as well.

Technotes

Technotes describe aspects of operation of Scalix CE Raw and contain valuable, deep-down technical information and tips. The really raw stuff.

Note: Technotes apply to other editions of Scalix as well, not only CE Raw. However, as they describe the system at low level, information provided here should be applied to production systems with great caution. It might be possible to badly break things.

The Playground

This Start Page is protected (after all, it's our Home' Sweet Home. Everybody is invited to join the party, but please.... leave it intact!)

For the wild at heart, therefore we provide some really raw free space. Please go ahead and leave your own traces in the Playground. If what you do is a bit more serious, add it to the Community Docs Homepage

Enjoy! Your Scalix CE Raw team
