On the issue of libxml2: Apparently, Fedora Core 5 (and perhaps earlier versions) comes with the xml-commons and sgml-common packages.

What is meant by this: "This document is HIGHLY inaccurate and under construction. Do not trust this document." How much of it is inaccurate? Which parts? How do you know? I am wanting to test an install on an Ubuntu box (Debian derivative), but don't want to waste time on something that is inaccurate...
