AS020 error

Postby kaosfury » Wed Aug 26, 2009 1:05 pm

I know this has been "answered" in other posts, but none of the answers work for me. I get this error when trying to use the address search function in the webmail client. Could this be related to not having an Exchange server? If so, does anyone have an idea of how to resolve this issue and fill in the address books in Scalix?

I don't have a fix and wish there was an entry here with a fix but I can tell you that this error is not caused because there is no Exchange server around.

We are getting this error on a system that is looking for an OpenLDAP directory. I can do an ldapsearch of the directory on the remote server but Webmail wont show the entries.

ldapsearch -xh my.other.server -b dc=company,dc=com

and this returns (this is just the initial data I have not included the 100s of entries returned):
version: 1

#
# LDAPv3
# base <dc=company,dc=com> with scope subtree
# filter: (objectclass=*)
# requesting: ALL
#

# company.com
dn: dc=company,dc=com
objectClass: top
objectClass: dcObject
objectClass: organization
dc: company
o: company

# External, company.com
dn: ou=External,dc=company,dc=com
objectClass: top
objectClass: organizationalUnit
ou: External
description: External contacts/suppliers with requirements for LDAP entries

Which is enough to tell me the ldapsearch can reach the other server where theOpenLDAP is but Webmail isn't displaying the data? Hence my saying that it isn't related to Exchange or not limited to Exchange.

But why it is occuring I don't know.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll look into what you have done there and see what I get. I inherited this, so I'm not completely up on how the previous guy set things up.
