Thunderbird and addon lightnind

Postby Oscar » Tue Jul 24, 2007 5:50 am

Hi

I'm using Scalix 11.1.0 with Fedora Core 5.

I use Thunderbird with the addon lightning. When I conenct to the calendar of Scalix via ICS, he connects well, but if I modify the calendar of SWA, he doesn't refesh the calendar of lightning. But when I restart the tomcat, lightning refreshes the calendar.

The calendar of ICS is read-only, how can I connect to calendar of Scalix via Webdav to modify the calendar from my thunderbird?

thanks

Hesperia

Postby Hesperia » Wed Jul 25, 2007 7:36 am

Hi,

I would like to use Thunderbird with Ligthing as fat email client instead of Outlook 2003. Is there any connector for it? I just want to have the calendar syncroniced with SWA, I can use IMAP for the mails

Thanks in advance,

Adolfo

Excuseme, but not exist any connector for Thunderbird. If you install Lightning or Sunbird, to connect to ICS I write:

Code: Select all

http://servername.lan/api/username@domain.es/mailbox/Calendar?output=ical

but is read-only.

you need an equivalent to the google provider extension - which allows read/write access to the Google Calendar;
