We're seeing some very odd behaviour on a Scalix server that ran out of disk space on the /var/opt/scalix partition. There is an external OpenLDAP server that the user accounts are administered from.
When we create a new user in OpenLDAP, and run "omldapsync", Scalix seems to create the user multiple times (we have 11 instances of a user appearing in "omshowu -m all | grep "username", but "omshowu -n "username"" reports "Username is ambiguous"). "omsearch" finds only one entry for the user. We aren't able to log into the account via webmail. We are unable to change passwords - once changed in LDAP, they do not work from SWA.
So something is clearly wrong with the directory structure, but we have no errors from "omldapsync", and nothing obviously related in any log files.
Has anyone seen anything like this before?
Any input would be very much appreciated, as there are users that have been without access to mail for a couple of weeks now!
