Postby nnuxx » Fri Apr 28, 2006 10:08 am

i'm going out of my mind!
i just installed Scalix Community edition 10.0.1 on a OSS10, and considering using it on a small business with only 20 outlook users, but i'm searching for the 'Scalix AD extensions.msi', and i cant find it anywhere!!...
is it only available to non-community edition??
Help me please!

thx much

It's available only to Enterprise customers.

You can use the omldapsync13.schema file (OpenLDAP) as a base to write your own LDAP extensions to AD and implement them. The Scalix tool just automates all that for you.

thank for your quick reply Valerion,
ok, i can live with that, it's fair enought :)
maybe someone can just 'throw me a bone' on how can i do that?
right now i'm tempted to install Enterprise Eval and have a look to see what and where does it wright in AD first??
i'm not in my 'lab' right now, but where exactly is that file?

thank you much.

you will have to download the extension file for AD from the scalix website. It is the same place i downloaded my enterprise trial version.

Please note that even if you have access to the MSI, it is only licensed for Small Business and Enterprise Editions, therefore you cannot use it wit Community Edition.
