I want to do some third-party development on Scalix. Where can I find the API documentation?

We are two students working on our diploma project. We'd like (have to...) develop kind of an interface application to communicate with scalix.

We only found an API for Scalix 11 (draft 2) but we just installed Scalix 10. Can we use that API? Is there another one for Scalix 10 (I haven't seen anything on the web..)?

The API is only available for Scalix 11 which is at http://downloads.scalix.com/scalix11preview/

What kind of application will you want to develop?

Note that Scalix 11 has been upgraded from Community Preview to Beta and is more stable now. Pleae be sure to download the latest version, posted last week.

I'll try to explain... We've got some PDA's which communicate with the sync4j Framework. Until now sync4j stores all data in a database. Now we'd like to use Scalix including all its features instead of this plain database.

Our job now is to develop an interface beween sync4j and scalix.
