Thunderbird Contacts LDAP delay

When using Thunderbird configured for Scalix address book through LDAP I'm experiencing 3-5 seconds delay until the partial contact is typed into the search or To: field and the full result is returned by Scalix.
I find this delay quite long considering there are less than 100 contacts in the address book, all is on local GigE LAN and scalix server is pretty much idle.

Any thoughts please?

i use TB on Ldap Contacts but with no problems.
With 150 contacts the results are quickly..

Have you test CPU load on local PC ?
