MSI Install Files

Postby pauldeecentos5 » Tue Jun 09, 2009 8:53 pm

Hi guys,

I apologize if this is an obvious question but after looking for quite a while, I can not locate the following files to use for my setup:

Scalix AD Schema Extensions.msi
Scalix AD GUI Extensions.msi

If someone would help me out with that, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You

These files are part of the scalix-(version)-GA-enterprise-win.zip package. They are not available in the Community Edition. SBE/EE/HE customers should use the link provided in the license message.

Thanks for clarifying that. Now to the reason that I was asking to begin with. I was trying to connect scalix to my active directory (running server 2008 domain controller), is it possible to do without those 2 files?

Thanks in advance!

Without the AD-extentions you will have to understand how LDAP synchronisation and the authentication works. Its not impossible from a technical perspective. You will have to map other existing attributes in AD to create the mailboxes.
