While editing calendar or contact items through the web interface, I noticed a very disturbing behaviour: Every time an item is edited and saved, it changes its ID (that is, the old item is deleted and a new one created). So I'm getting a different messageID, DirectRef, and uid when I access the web API after a change. This makes correct synchronization virtually impossible, since the synchronization engine (Funambol, in my case) won't find the item anymore after an edit. Is this a bug or behaviour as per specification?
