Postby mmas » Tue Feb 03, 2009 6:19 am

Hi,

I have configured BlackBerry with BBDM 4.2 and backup and sync work fine (for now... ;))

I have also configured imap access throught vodafone service.

It works but when a user open an old email with outlook he receive this email on blackberry as new email !!!

Any suggestion?

Check with a desktop IMAP client or SWA if the same happens.

Yes, I test scalix imap with thunderbird and It works fine.

I think it's something about outlook/connector. I use version 11.4.3 server and connector.

How can I increase/view imap log on server and/or client side? Which imap server use scalix ?

No, I meant use Outlook together with an IMAP client on the same account (in the same way you would the BB) and see if the same happens. If the same happens, then it's indicates something on the server is wrong, or the client poll intervals on the IMAP client is wrong. If it doesn't behave the same way as with the BB then we will have to see why you get that behaviour.

This behaviour should not happen. If it's an IMAP error it will show up the same way in a normal IMAP client as on the BB.

Problem solved.

It was Nod32 v.2.7 antivirus. I have disabled "Scan Read Email" option.
