Postby Coder4 » Fri Jan 30, 2009 4:01 pm

Hello

Im using scalix 11.4.2 on Red Hat EL 4

I want to interger Mailscanner into Scalix.
Some says it isnt posible, and other says it is posible, but i dont can get i to work :(

Does some have an guide, or can some help me to interger Mailscanner into Scalix?

I just need to check for Spam, so if other software like Spamassassin is better, then i can use that to.

Thanks.

If you just want to check for spam, use SpamAssassin, as it's been done before, and it's documented: http://www.scalix.com/wiki/index.php?title=HowTos/SpamAssassin

If you want to use MailScanner, the easiest is to make sendmail your incoming listener. instead of the SMTP Relay. You will have to reconfigure SMTP Relay to another port to handle SWA, but that has been documented here before. It is quite possible to do.
