spamass-milter and CentOS 5

Postby bulsworth » Wed Sep 03, 2008 6:41 pm

I am trying to install spamassassin on CentOS 5. I am following the directions in. http://www.scalix.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... amAssassin

I thought I was doing everything right until the "Configure spamassassin and spamass-milter to start on boot" part.

I did this:
chkconfig --add spamass-milter

And got this error message:
error reading information on service spamass-milter: No such file or directory

What am I doing wrong?

Note: I am not well versed in linux. My friend had originally set up scalix for me. I am just trying to do this part and a few other little things.

There is lots of mentions on the forum already. Try this post....viewtopic.php?t=11439&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=spamassmilter

It should help to solve your problem.
