You could 'simply' enable imap access to your domino servers, and use imapsync to transfer the emails..

Search these forums for imapsync and you'll get the details on how it can be done.

I had to do this from some 60 users about 1 1/2 year ago, and had to purchase a 3rd party Lotus to Exchange migration application. This particular one worked as an imapsync, but picked up Calendar/Contacts/Tasks as well. I did one user at the time, and had the scalix plugin already configured on each user account. I used a Windows computer as the proxy agent for the operation, and it took me several days by the time I was done.

There are many ways to go about this, but you necessarily need to assess exactly what you want to do, and find the proper tool and work flow. Lotus is a very stupid product to interact with, in particular older versions, so expect to have some problems. Look up the internet for product offers to do that job. They are not expensive considering the headache they will save you.

There is also a 3rd party tool called "eShuttle" available from a company called GEM (http://www.gem-si.com) that may be able to help.

We're in the middle of this now, we've migrated a couple of users to test with a view to doing the rest next month.

It's VERY difficult. We just couldn't get imapsync to work reliably, so had to spend money on eShuttle which is a horrible bit of software.

You also have to see how many applications you run on the notes server - we run a few business systems on Notes, so checking the viability of migrating them is a must.

Ask me in a month or so whether it was worth the pain

I assume you know my email address (please don't use Forum PM, it's just too hard to forward/manage for me).

I would like to understand the exact nature of your imapsync issues (as we are working on some IMAP server improvements) and furthermore I would like to understand the issues with eShuttle, as the vendor has repeatedly pinged me for a stronger cooperation and I would like to make this very dependent on the quality of their product. I used it 4 years ago for the very first Exchange-to-Scalix migration, which was a suboptimal experience and it was what triggered us to develop our own Exchange migration tool, the SMT.
