Hi,

Upgraded to Scalix v11.4 last night, the results from the desktop are

Windows XP - Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 + Lightening v0.8 - working
Windows XP - Sunbird 0.8 - working
Solaris 10 x86 - Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 + Lightening v0.8 - broken
Solaris 10 x86 - Sunbird v0.8 - working

There appears to be a problem with All Day Events and how they appear in Lightening v0.8 and Thunderbird v0.8 but only to those created with Scalix Server v11.3. Events created with V11.4 are okay.

After a running Scalix v11.4 for a week, Lightening and Sunbird users are noticing that they are being prompted for their username and password in order to access the Calendar.
Can anything be done to improve the situation?

I've seen this happen under 2 circumstances,

1 if Scalix is unavailable for a while (perhaps down for backups?) then password requests accumulate.

2 if a CalDAV request encouters a problem. If this happens there will hopefully be some evidence in the tomcat logs (/var/opt/scalix/??/tomcat/logs/scalix-api.log etc) Information from there might help narrow down your issues.

As a matter of interest, which versions of Lightning and Sunbird are you using?

Hi,

By downloading a newer version of Lightening it is possible to have Thunderbird working with Scalix v11.4 on Solaris 10 x86.

The working lightening.xpi file can be downloaded here :-

Note, this is with Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 not the Thunderbird 2.0.0.16pre also shown.
