Fedora Directory Server omldapsync issue

Postby tecstream » Thu May 08, 2008 9:11 am

Hello,

I am having a few problems getting a Fedora Directory server to sync with Scalix 11.2 all running on CentOS 5.1. I have run the omldapsync -i directory then edited my sync.cfg appropriately. As you can see it says it test search ok and I can run in debug mode and pull the omldapsearch that it does and run it independently. I do not know why I am getting a connection refused any ideas would be appreciated. This is still in a test environment and I do have the directory server being used by ither apps.

Listed below is a run attempt of omldapsync and my sync.cfg file

Simple Solution for the Java error

Postby tecstream » Thu May 08, 2008 2:48 pm

Hello,

I hope this helps someone else as I did not see it and it was really very simple. Digging around a bit more on the forums I ran across this post:

viewtopic.php?t=1879&highlight=java+connection+ldap

and the result is I am now syncing correctly. the problem is the port # on the CAA it is listed in the sync.cfg as 8080 and tomcat now uses port 80 so just by removing that 8080 I was able to connect and sync.

Thanks hope it helps someone else.
