Lightning support -- accepting an invite does not update

Postby mxc » Wed Feb 11, 2009 3:18 am

Hi all,

We logged a call with support and have been told that lightning does not support shared calendars. The problem we have though is that accepting an invite does not update scalix or thunderbird. Unless my definition of "shared calendar" is wrong I don't see how accepting a meeting not working can relate to the failure to support "shared calendars" with lightning.

Is there some place on the scalix site where we can find out exactly what does and doesn't work with lighnting? We are using 0.9.

thanks

I second that request. Would be nice to have a feature list for CalDAV - what's working/supported for lightning/sunbird and also iCal. I was wondering if there is a way to view colleagues calendar without using their password.

On my system, I typically have e-mail addresses per user: For example, the user John Smith has a login id of "jsmith" and e-mail addresses of "John.Smith@mycompany.com" and "jsmith@mycompany.com." Thunderbird is configured for "jsmith@mycompany.com" with an extra "identity" configured for "john.smith@mycompany.com" so that Thunderbird "knows" that both e-mail addresses are for the same user (and thus the same calendar.)
