Verizon Treo 755p - IMAP SSL

I'm trying to get a user setup for IMAP email on their Treo 755 from Verizon (running PalmOS). The device has Versamail 3.5.5 on it.

When I setup the account up on the device, I enter all the information (have verified all the same information and used on many windows mobile devices and blackberries). I am able to send messages, but when I try to get email, it connects and then hangs at the "Checking for new messages" screen for a very long time (15 minutes is the longest I have waited)...before I have to take out the battery to reset.

I just setup gmail IMAP SSl, and it worked fine...

Any ideas?

Try and find the user's session on the server, then strace it to see what it's doing...

Upgrading to 11.4.3 fixed the issue...
