Are you doing the BBDM Sync & IMAP or NotifyLink?

hmm. sorry the abbrivation caught me off guard.

BBDM, Yes, one user syncs one way (from outlook calandar to BB Calandar, e-mail is not syncronized via BBDM. but for both clients, It seems after I setup the blackberry to access the e-mail via IMAP, the calandar entries automatically appeared in the calandar, along with the message. Basically they are using Verizon's over the air e-mail sync system. It uses IMAP to access the users mail box on the Scalix Server.

IMAP is for email.

To sync contacts/calendar, you either need to use the Blackberry Desktop Manager (BBDM) software or NotifyLink.

Wow, that was really fast, thanks again for the really quick response.

Why is it the apointments are appearing in the blackberry calandar, if Imap is only for e-mail.

Also why does the blackberry create a Sent box instead of directing all the sent mail to the sent items box that is located in outlook.

Thanks again for your really quick response.

Sincerely,

I don't use a blackberry personally, so I'm not sure how to change the Sent items.

If you create appointments on the device or accept appointments on the BB, they will show up in the calendar. But they will not sync with Scalix unless you setup the BBDM.
