iCal on Mac OS X: does full read/write access work?

Postby andreash » Thu Jun 21, 2007 6:51 am

Hi there,
I'm thinking about evaluating Scalix. However, our boss uses a Mac, and on that Mac he uses iCal as calendaring app.
Is this fully supported? I found some quote saying that reading a calendar from the Scalix server will work, but will I be able to write changes I make in iCal back to the Scalix server?
Thanks,
Andreas

iCal access is read-only (no syncing back to server)

In case this helps your case for deployment then Leopard is going to ship with CalDAV support in iCal which should overcome this non Scalix-specific limitation.
