SugarCRM

Just thought I'd let everyone know that it seems to work fine. I can't find the request about it, but someone from Scalix Tech Support (Sascha maybe?) asked me to follow up after I had some feedback.

We have several users here running it and there have been no problems at all. Zero. It works perfectly.

Can you elaborate on what kind of integration you've done? I'm currenty working on independent implementation plans for Scalix and SugarCRM, but if I can integrate email and calendar items from Scalix into Sugar, that would make life much easier for my users.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

We've installed the Outlook Plugin, and people have syncronized their contacts. There was really nothing to set up. I ran the installer, and it worked, right out of the box. It's been a few months now, and there have been no calls or complaints about it.

I can't speak to the exact features they use, so I don't know about calendar, but Contacts are definately synced.

We also use the SugarCRM plugin and it works seamlessly for us.
Contacts are sync'ed fine.
Emails can be sent to Sugar with the "Send to Sugar" button.
Calendar can be sync'ed fine, although it's usefulness is limited due to the amount of data it transfers. We find it better to make use of Sugar's free/busy server and have Outlook update that.
Apart from the Sugar connector being a little slow to start up, we've had absolutely no problems using the plugin.
