hi,

my scenario: some of my users must be reachable with 2 email adresses and must have the oportunity to send with this 2 adresses.

example: Carls Carlons <carl@abc.com> and Carl Carlson <carl@xyz.com>

if i add the second adress as an alias there is no possibilty to switch between these adresse when i send an email (in swa i can but not in outlook, right?). when i try to add the 2nd adress as a second account to "import" the 2nd account via delegate, i get the error that the user exists already. the only difference betweens the 2 accounts is the mail adresse.. not unique enough? as far as i know delegation is the only workaround/method to solve my problem yet?

thanks!

You need to use delegation. Create a second mailnode and create the second account on that. On the same mailnode you need firstname/surname/initials/common name to be different.

thanks for your reply.

i've forget to tell that i tried it with a second mailnode.
i created a mailnode with a simple `omaddmn -m mail2` and choosed that mailnode while creating the second account. same error message. user already exists. did i something wrong?

Do a omsearch -s and make sure there is no entries left in the SYSTEM directory. You can also use omaddu to add the user manually and see if you get any errors, then modifying to suit your needs with SAC.
