Can't Access SAC

Postby dbrown3 » Sat Dec 10, 2005 5:43 am

Hi All,
I have just installed Scalix on a test box to evaluate and the install has gone smoothly but I am unable to log into the SAC. When I try I get the error "The administration server is not responding"
I have verified that Tomcat is running and that all of the Scalix services are running. This is a fresh install of Fedora Core 4 as outlined in the install manuals. Below is the last entry in the caa.log file.

Found the problem. The installer hadn't added the
JAVA_OPTS="-server -Xms512m -Xmx512m -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true"
line to the Tomcat/bin/setclasspath.sh file.

See http://www.scalix.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=475 for more details

FYI, the installer you have does not do this automatically. It's fixed in the next major release (due Q1 06).

Cheers

Dave
