We have installed the latest scalix on a new server in Germany. So now we see everything at SAC and Webmail in Germany, but need it in english...

Where to change that? We already have changed in Yast on our SLES10 SP1 System the language and time zone.. but it isn't working.

can anybody tell me wehre to change to english?

Rerun the installer, and choose to reconfigure the affected components. You will be prompted for a language. Choose English.

I have already done it two times, checked the language, time area and keyboard settings which all at english UK, but it Isn't working.

All I get is in German.

I also have uninstalled the complete scalix installation and reinstalled it - it's the same.

At the reconfiguration I had to choose between english UK and US and German... I alwas have choosen english UK...

Is there a file in which I can change it manualy?

What version of Scalix are you using?

I just installed the following version on my debian system:

v 11.2.0.52

To change the language, edit the following file:

/var/opt/scalix/$instance/webmail/swa.properties

and set the value of

swa.user.locale=

to whatever frontend language you need.

I changed it from en_CA and assumably en_US would also work.

Unfortunately, I couldnt change the settings to use the french localization. If anyone has a tip here, I would be happy to know of it.

Ah yes... and dont forget do restart scalix-tomcat for changes to take effect.

Cheers
