Still receiving undeliverable messages from deleted users

We are still receiving undeliverable messages from users that are deleted from our Scalix system. We have eliminated Outlook cached names and personally created distribution lists. We also cannot see the users' mailboxes using the Scalix command line tools. Any ideas?

Most likely, you're mailing to people who have configured those deleted users as their delegates.

By default, Outlook configures delegates to receive copies of meeting requests. SWA copies this behaviour also.

Not sure I understand your reply. Regarding delegates, nobody among our Outlook users has configured any delegates within Outlook.

The user is still a member of a group perhaps?

Hi,
Could it be that the user is attached in some way to a 'resource'...not sure how or how you could check this...perhaps someone could comment on this?

I have checked this out and it doesnt appear to be the case. Is there anything else that can be checked?

I'd set logging on service router and local delivery to 11 and the next time this happens, see if you can figure out where the original message came from and what it was doing - booking a resource, going to a distribution list, etc.
