Public folder empty although messages less than 14 days old

My server has the following settings for a public folder:

Bulletin Board: Regioned
Owner: xxx /rnc1/CN=xxx
Expiry Date: Unset
Expiry Delay: 14 days
Message Expiry Flag: Unset
Size: 17K
Client List Order: 0

The folder receives email on a daily basis. Email messages should be deleted when they reach the age of 14 days. However, all the emails in the folder where deleted this morning when a user logged on. This is the second time.

Where to look?

Hi,

According to the man page ommaintbb, expired messages could be deleted by the client (via the server access protocol), assuming that messages did get sent to the BB daily so that could be the source of the problem/bug. Looking at the man page for omaddb and ommodbb, it might be worth setting the expiry days as well (or instead of expiry delay) to see if it works better. Alternatively try to switch off expiry and use ommaintbb for now.
