Adding secondary domain address to existing user

Postby dplaza » Thu Aug 11, 2005 12:03 pm

I need to add a secondary address to an existing user that contains a different domain. I added a new rule to format the address, but when I select the existing user and try to add an address it will only show the original domain in the pull down. If I add a new user, the 2 addresses abc@domainA.com and abc@domainB.com appear to be properly created.

Basically we are evaluting Scalix and want users to send with the correct address of abc@domain.com but for routing from the existing Exchange server we have created a subdomain of scalix.domain.com and need to add the secondary address of abc@scalix.domain.com.

To be able to recieve on the second doamin do we need to make an entry somewhere else that I am missing?

You need to add your domains to ubermanager.console.localDomains in /etc/opt/scalix/caa/scalix.res/config/ubermanager.properties.

This is a comma-separated list of domains.

You will need to restart tomcat for this change to be picked up.

Cheers

Dave.

Thanks for the tip. I was using the command line to update all my users with the new domain. This is much easier.
