adding members to group through sac

Postby FNB » Mon Jul 17, 2006 3:20 pm

I don't see any options to add members to a group in SAC. Am I missing something?

Anyone being added to a Group needs to already exist in the Scalix directory. This includes internet users.

When I click on a group I've created and go to the members tab, there isn't an option or button to add a user to the group that I see.

In SAC you can do this two ways.

Select the groups tab at the top. Click on a group on the left and select the Members tab, filter members by all users and click refresh. you can now select the users and select save changes.

or

Select the users tab at the top. Go to the user you would like to add to a group, click on the "Member of" tab and filter by all groups. Once you do that, you can check the groups you woulld like the user to be a member of and Save Changes.

Got it msweany. I was looking for a button somewhere, but changing the filters makes sense now
