"Cannot Change User Password"

When I try to change a user's password in the admin console, I receive the error "Cannot Change User Password."

I have tried this on several users with the same error message.

I also get the error "User Information Cannot Be Saved" when trying to save other information on multiple users.

In a related matter, I also have been getting errors related to IMAP Search when a client attempts to search their inbox from Thunderbird. This related error entry in the log:

I reloaded the box and then recreated about 10 email accounts. I cannot change the password on the last one, nor can I make any changes to the account at all (unable to change error). This is all under FireFox.

Under IE, same issue.

It would be nice to have more specific error messages.

Do I need to take a closer look at Zimbra?

It's most likely that the problem user has a large number of internet addresses. Is this the case ?

Depends on what is meant by a large number. A few have six, others eight -- there are three addresses off of two similar domain names in on example.

But, I see the same issue for users with two addresses.

So, this is a scalability issue with the product?
