to retrieve mail account with emails after deleting

Hi Scalix Users,
From the sac (admin) console, a user account was deleted as he left the office. Now, We need some of his mails. Is there a way to retrieve his mail account with emails or has it completley gone from the system ?
Could you pls let me know what has to be done?

If you have a sxmboxexp of his mailbox you can install that. Or you can recover an older backup onto a different machine and retrieve from there. However, once you delete a mailbox, it's gone from the system.

Thanks for your responce. I do NOT have a sound knowlede of Scalix. So I would like to ask
what is sxmboxexp ?
How can I get to know wthere deleted user has it or not ?
What do you refer to "recover an older backup onto a different machine and retrieve from there" ? I do NOt have any older back up.
does it mean that i will NOT be able to retrive that user's mail?

sxmboxexp is a tool that exports a user's mailbox to a file. Useful to do before you delete it.
In short, if you delete the user's mailbox and don't have either a dump or an older backup that was taken before the deletion, then reconstructing it is either very hard (it if happened partially, which it shouldn't), or impossible (if the deletion happened correctly).
