SAC not handling set Quota properly?

Postby MDAFederal » Mon Oct 29, 2007 2:14 pm

I have just upgraded from 10.0.5 to 11.2 GA and have liked most of the additions and had a fairly smooth transition (approx 20 minutes). I have uncovered another minor issue that might have occured through the upgrade. I have always used the System mailbox Quotas for the majority of the users, with managers, marketers, etc getting a larger quota. This appears to not be working currently, as users with the default system quota come up saying "No Limit Set" for the percentage of disk quota usage, even though I have the system quota set to 1024 MB. This appears to be partially working, as users are geting warning emails, but they are still able to send messages, which should not be the case.

Anybody else come across this on the Admin console?

Thanks in advance.

I just found this today. Have users with 100MB mailboxes that should be limited to 40MB. What's up? Is this corrected in 11.3?

Not sure. I haven't installed 11.3 yet and have not had any response back to this post (until now). Will be installing 11.3 soon.

I would be curious to hear from anyone at Scalix on this matter.

Hi

How are your limits set?
I understand this has been working in the past but do you..
1) Reject outgoing mails when over limit
2) Reject imcomming mails when over limit
3) Send user email when over limit?

Mostly the limit is a guideline if rejection is not in place.

Mike
