adding and additional domain suffix to drop down menu

Lets see if I can get to the question fast.
Currently we are in a transitional stage with 2 mail servers.
I am trying to add a group, lets say davesgrp@domain.com,
I can add davesgrp@domain.com but I am looking to also add davesgrp@mail.luthresearch.com. Because of the transition.

The issue is I can only pull from the drop down list domain.com how do I add mail.domain.com

Under SAC go to Settings, Administration, then under Local Domains add the new domain.

My company is also going through a transition to a new name, but when I try to add the new domain the "local domain" remains red. The save changes button never become available. Do I need to get a new license to allow the new domain name?

If you have a license the domain needs to be present. In your license email you received is a link to update the information. You will have to be issued a new license first.

I am also having this problem, and it is extremely urgent.

I had a whole bunch of local domains set up, now after upgrading to 11.3 none of them exist anymore and I cannot add additional local domains, the boz stays red and will not allow me to save.

Our license is Enterprise and its last valid date is in October 2008.

I am really frustrated with this problem, I need a fix immediately. Can someone please advise exactly all steps that are required for me to once more be able to use this very basic functionality.

1) Check your license (sxlicense) and make sure the domains are listed there. If not, check the license email you received for a link to request an updated one before you go any further. Then try in SAC again.

2) If it doesn't work in SAC and your license is correct, edit /var/opt/scalix/??/caa/scalix.res/config/ubermanager.properties, look for ubermanager.console.localDomains and add a comma-seperated list of domains there, followed by a restart of tomcat.
