Modifying contact info - without being an administrator

Hi all,

I'm wanting to have some users able to update contact information for accounts (ie. phone numbers, address, etc.) but I don't want to give them full administrator rights to the SAC to do it.

These people are non-technical, and they are likely to screw something up. :x

Is this possible with the current version? If not, can I put something like this in as
an enhancement request for the Q1-2006 release?

Hello,

You can indeed do this with SAC. All you need to do is add the users in question to the ScalixUserAttributesAdmins group (created by default when SAC is installed). This will allow the users to log into SAC and ONLY change the contact and basic user information.

Give it a try and let me know how it works out...
