sxqueryadmin problem - can't login to SAC using sxadmin

I recently got my test scalix server back online and upgraded to version 10.0.1.

I am unable to login to the SAC using the password I set during installation.

I have tried a number of times these activities:
I have uninstalled and deleted the sxqueryadmin user and reinstalled, providing a simple password.
I have used the ommodu utility to reset the password

I am still unable to log in. Can someone help? I'm no linux/ldap expert...

Are you using the authentication id of sxadmin@fqdn or are you using just sxadmin?

What does the caa log report as the issue?

Hi Jim,

I believe I am using the correct domain name. I've tried both:

sxadmin@host.domain.com
and
sxadmin@domain.com

I don't see anything noteworthy in the logs, but I might be looking in the wrong place.

Does the password in /etc/opt/scalix/caa/scalix.res/config/psdata file match with the actual password of sxqueryadmin?

AussieOwner logged into my box and made some changes...I didn't ask him what he did.

on my box i had the problem that sxadmin login via sac was not working if the password stored in /etc/opt/scalix/caa/scalix.res/config/psdata has a $ (dollar) sign. after changing the sxqueryadmin to an password without dollar sign it works.
